My Cat Writes Haiku

Katie the cat has taught me many universal truths.
I spy strange new worlds
That might enlighten my own
Just beyond my reach.

Plastic sack on bed
When employed a different way
Cheap entertainment.

Things that bar my way
Scoot a little to the right
Have an end in sight.

A soft red pillow
With the proper kind of touch
Can become a bed.

My throne a trash can
I can see a distant shore
With eyes wide open.

Just Chris...Now because your cat is writing haiku, you can see why cat people are strange. Dog people know to keep their pets away from the keyboard.

Cats can show us that simplicity can be enough.

No question, you can learn a lot, studying a cat.

I think we could all learn a few lessons from our beloved pets! Thanks for the smiles and what a pretty kitty :o)

I love seeing things from a cat's point of view! (And sometimes I need to 'scoot a little to the right' too.)

I've been looking for blogs that have to do with the 12 steps and recovery (I'm a newbie in OA.) I just added you to my follow-list--thanks for a beautiful blog!

Uh oh, Chris! You have released the "cat people". There's no turning back now!

I love the one with the red pillow. We see a lot of that action over here.

You can turn any normal everyday event into haiku. So it runs in the family, kitty won't be left out.

Perfect Einstein quote with this one also.....
smaller less complex and less violent.

You never know with Haiku, or a cat.

Hey! My cats take MY computer chair when I'm gone. I'd better see what they've been writing.....!
