Happy Trails to You

The days march on. Mom is ensconced in the terribly expensive but very impressive care facility.I'm carrying around a low-level diaper bag. The world is different. Say a prayer for us,

Hi, Chris.
Hope you are resting now that mom is in a facility. It will be good for her. I wonder how they deal with the nighttime there? You are in our prayers, and you need a rest and a re-coup. Coccoon for a while and do what you do that's best for YOU today.
p.s. a change of location usually shifts the progression of the dementia quickly down another level, whether it involves a trip, a hospital, or a new house.

Prayers are coming your way. I pray that all goes well and that your mom is in safe hands and that the Lord will watch over her. I pray that the Lord will watch over you and keep you safe and that you find a place closer to you that is more affordable.

I also hope that you can get some sleep now. Sleep is wonderful.

Loving one's parent is important and you are a blessing for your mom, and you will be blessed too. You can only do what you are able and I am thankful you found a place for her.

God bless.

I have been keeping up with this terrible time you have been going through, over the holiday. It's truly unbelievable. I cannot imagine how you must feel with the world suddenly turned upside down in the way that it has. Please email me if you want to talk.

I'm boggled that the FBI did this. Did they not think of the aftermath? Obviously not, but Holy Cow...I still can't believe this happened the way it did. What huge trauma both you and your mom have gone through in the interests of the FBI!

Keeping you in my prayers. I'm glad your Mom is settled for now. Don't forget to take deep breaths...

You are most definitely in my prayers. Have you been able to catch up on your rest and renewal? I hope this is the solution that works and that your Mom will be able to make the adjustments.

What can I say except I'm praying for you, Chris. I'm dealing with a similar situation which I wouldn't wish on anyone. My mom is on an anti-psychotic to keep her from hitting the staff at the nursing home where she lives. Whether she still needs it now, is anyone's guess.

Waiting for the true and final healing........

Hi, Chris. Sorry I haven't been around. I'm actually in beautiful CA right now. Still thinking of you (especially here) and praying for you to have strength through this.
