Waiting

double hollyhock

Blue today. Nothing to say. Waiting for it to pass. As it always has.

Better than thoughts are flowers. Here is a glimpse of my garden.

fennel

dahlia

feverfew

rose

a daisy-type like gaillardia

Are you having a good day? I hope so. If you're blue, what do you do?

The comment moderation thingy suffers today from a Blogger Bug. I'm attempting to post your comments but alas, not all go through, and the comment link is off. Mr. Blogger refuses to reply to one's notification that not all is well. That's one way to deal with the blues: refuse to take note of them.

I was in the blue yesterday. I'm really hoping to be in rose today.

The flowery suggestion does help. I love the beauty of gardens. I went to see a beautiful Chihuly exhibit in Meijer Gardens while I was up in Michigan visiting. It was amazing!!!!

Beautiful flowers surrounding beautiful glass works of art. Definitely a highlight of my two weeks in the mitten state. :)

Chris, and indeed, it will pass! Maybe when you will read my comment everything will be all good. Look at the blue sky and those beautiful flowers, sit with whatever it is, breath in and out, smile at your sorrow because you are so much more then your sorrow! ... love and hugs :-)

The flowers are exquisite! I can share that I stepped in a big pile of crap this morning before my first cup of coffee. Tell me again why we have 10 rescue dogs? (hope that made you smile)

Ah your garden is lovely! I think we have that 2nd flower, but in white - we have thoroughly enjoyed our wildflower garden.

I'm not blue, although I guess I could be with returning to work after some time off - but a return to routine is comforting sometimes.

Here's hoping that you are NOT blue soon - perhaps you could aim for that lovely pink or orange on your flowers.

Hey, get out here an WALK, go to the music in the park, listen to the hope for the flowers! See you next Thursday's poetry reading?

Somedays the Blues come callin'...we just have to muster through somehow. I usually take pictures or read a good book. Sometimes crying gets it out and on its way. Put my daughter on a bus this morning for Leadership Camp. She'll be gone four days and I miss her already.

These flowers are very cheerful and I hope afternoon and evening finds you no longer blue, but rather sparkly. I have not seen a double hollyhock, wow! Feverfew is pretty and I have many volunteer feverfew in my garden.

Such beauty in your garden lives! And in your soul, as well. Hoping some sunshine will creep in and tickle your fancy...

Hugs!

What a beautiful garden you tend there, Mrs. Poet. They certainly make my day.

I approved some comments too that went into cyberspace and have not come back down.

I love your flowers.

Thank goodness it does pass, Chris. When I'm blue, I go outside. Seriously. I know that sounds simplistic, but it's true. I find it hard to concentrate on me when I'm in nature.

Your garden would distract me terribly. It's beautiful.

Hope all will be well.

I don't know what to say. :-) I'm having trouble posting on my blog this week too. I don't know if it's the overly hot weather or what, but I've been feeling quiet.

Your flowers are pretty and add a measure of brightness to my day but, for some reason, I am depressed. Not having enough money to pay my bills does that to me. Not working is so demoralizing. It's been too dman long. I need a job.

Blue? Loud music (singing along preferably). Walking. Cooking. Crying (who doesn't feel better after a wail?). And then more loud music.

Absolutely beautiful! I love it. I hope the only blue you're having today is a blue sky.

Mr. Blogger hates me. I left a comment above, but it's not showing up. Dern him!

Oh, duh. Comment moderation. Haha! I always forget who does it and who doesn't. Sorry, Mr. Blogger:)

Have a beautiful day, Chris!

one of the great things about a garden is that it has almost magical powers that lift the spirit, if one is open to the lifting :-)

I do not have a green thumb. I do not have a garden. I don't even have ANY plants in my apartment. But I LOVE flowers. Flowers literally make me smile, make my heart soar, give me hope that there the world is filled with beauty and goodness...and love!
