The lady made me shoot her
said the tearful defendant.
She stalked me on My Space
tormented me with sexy texts
and forced herself upon me
in the park although I said no.
When she claimed she was pregnant
and threatened to tell my fiancé
she forced me to shoot her to shut her up.
This is a Friday Flash 55 tale, and it isn’t fiction; it’s my small town’s version of “Fatal Attraction,” such a gooey story that it makes front-page news every day with the trial in progress. The femme fatale lived, and she’s on trial as much as the poor fellow is. I think he’s guilty of pathetic stupidity just for having a My Space page at the age of 27.
Other Flash 55s are linked up at the G-Man’s place today.

i can totally see this happening...he will write a book...which will become a movie and make millions...
While I read your poem I kept thinking this has the ring of truth - the whole stupidity part. Then I read your paragraph it was indeed.
Real life tends to be stranger than fiction some days. (Hugs)Indigo
I don't know, Chris, it's probably no worse than my having a Facebook page at the geriatric age of 66! But I'm ot going to stalk anyone and I doubt that anyone will stalk me. Great 55 ( I wish I were still 55 - life was better than and, at least, I was employed! )

Oh my. I'm amazed at how people can blame their actions on their victim.
Ah, when fact is stranger than fiction. Well done!
Gah! Technology at it's worst. Great 55 whether or not it is truth or fiction.
I can't believe this kinda stuff really happens. I know that's pretty naive, but it still surprises me.
Chris...
I LOVED this murderous tale!
Right up my alley!
Yeah....Men are known for their stupidity.
What did Kathleen Turner say to Wm. Hurt?
"Your kind of stupid aren't you Ned? I like that in a man"!
Great 55 My Friend.
Thanks for playing, and have a Kick Ass Week-End...G

There are lots of strange people in this world. And I am glad to not know the detailed lives of those around me. Stalking on My Space seems so pathetic.
