My Art Tour

(The metalsmith in the gallery)

(Painting by Peg Grady)

I've used up my week's supply words.
I have suffered and stood up again.
On my day of rest, I will take you
on a tour of my local art gallery.
Enjoy the scenes.

(This is a Sunday 160, hosted by the Monkey Man. You get only 160 words and spaces to spit out something meaningful. Good luck. Photos don’t count.

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,

the courage to change the things I can,

and the wisdom to know the difference.

May you all have a blessed day.

The best part is hearing you say you got up again. Keep on keeping on. I can never ever see the Serenity Prayer too much. Every time I say it, or read it or think it I get something good from it.

So did you cheat on the 160?

If a picture is a worth a 1000 words but you just didn't type them, does that mean you surpassed the 160 limit?

Isn't it amazing how pictures lift your soul, push you to dig deep into your heart and dreams, make you feel loved, lost, or uncomfortable. I enjoyed your gallery today.

I love this post and the next, feasts for the brain, both of them. Thanks for the email. Searching for that alternative is ongoing. Enjoy the weekend.

Thinking of you and your mom today, on the 2nd anniversary of my mother's death.

Glad to read your blog and see through your eyes today....wonderful world behind those eyes!

See you at poetry reading this week?

Glad you are on your feet. Loved the metal work - beautiful stuff. All with the simplicity of a 160. Thanks for participating and thank you for your repeated visits.
