Pregnant Now with Possibilities

At day’s end I came to the egg.
I had cried all the tears left in the sac.
The time had past to enter the competition.
Too late now to show it off.
Only me and it, and the shadows now.
Did it matter, really, what anyone thought?
I had the magic in my hand. In this egg
were the seeds of the future.
I gathered it up. I would decide later.

my heart breaks for you Chris. I just read the previous posts....the one with your mom having a meltdown. This is a story...something other people need to read. It's happening for so many trying to care of elderly parents. Praying...know that ok.

When life is zapping you with more and more zingers, you retreat to the world of numb and later. I know. I feel for you. I like what you wrote very much. It did matter to me. It does.

I am catching up on posts and therefore reading two or three at a time, This helps me to understand what problems you are having at the moment and to better understand the meaning behind your fine Magpie piece.

Lots of possibilites out there and I am glad that you have found one.

No one knows what the future holds and so we must grab at all the possibilities we can when they are offered. Life is wonderful and I am so glad that things are getting better for you and your mom.

I will continue to send prayers your way and hope that you are full of blessed magic each day in all you do. The angels of love are watching over you and your mom.

God bless.

The competition doesn't matter worth two shakes. No one's looking. We're all just beside you.

Hold fast.

I am not a professor, but a writer tu shid bea,
(What is a wotel, Chris?)

I know you are drained, also I am so happy for you and your mom. The process that brought you to this point gives you power to your life, and meaning to your decisions, and conviction in doing what was right. Now she will actually function better in a home where care is given in English, by new friends who want to be there, with attention to decions for her well being.......
you're a good egg, and so are your children.

I am glad that your mother is in a good place now. And it seems that you are also. Awesome to have so much "muchness" in your life.

She is safe and secure and you now have time to spend regrouping. I am glad this, too, has passed. Will continue to keep you all in my prayers.
