and mysteries of the earth
are never alone or weary of life.

i agree...love teh pic and hope that as we grow more vintage we find a bench just like that...there is so much to see and explore that we miss each day...

We're glad to see your back!

(I'm sorry. The devil made me do it!)

But seriously:
...and since our bodies are a part OF the earth?

I couldn't agree more.

How is it you have a great uncle the back of whose head looks relatively youthful?

I think you are absolutely right.

There is something instantly renewing, for me, to be in the woods. It's a strange thing, but it always works.

Love the photo/the moment shared.

If I am communing with nature and enjoying the good things of nature I know absolutely I am not alone. If there is not another human being around I am still not alone. I am part of something so strong and awesome that I know the presence deep down in my soul.

I love families. Beautiful photo and wise words.

If we have curiosity about life and all that it offers--its beauty and its mystery--then it would be impossible to be weary with it. The photo is great!

So true, so infinitely poignant. I love this.

an artist once told me that mystery is a distraction from the creation of art, I think he was quoting someone, but I bet he'd say the same about beauty... and money....

are artists lonely because of this?
